I was going to go to Dunvegan for the day but the bus driver told me that the famous Dunvegan Castle doesn't open until April 1st. I went to Plan B and headed out on the Scorrybreac Circuit trail to hike along the cliffs up to the high point called Sithean Bhealaich Chumhaing.
The views along the coast of the cliffs, pastures, ocean, boats, and islands are mind boggling. At the top the wind was so ferocious that it felt like it could blow you off of the cliff and into the frigid waters below. It was a cloudy day so I couldn't see the Old Man of Storr bu it didn't rain all day which was a huge bonus.
I ate lunch on the trail and took a lot of photos so the hike took about six hours. On the way down I abandoned the main trail and just followed the sheep paths through the pastures to a road that I could see on the map.
