Tuesday, Betws-y-Coed to Cardiff by Train

Betws-y-Coed, United Kingdom

After breakfast, I checked out of the hotel and walked to the village to catch the express bus to Llandudno Junction. There I caught the nonstop train to Cardiff which was about 15 minutes late. The train was only two cars and about half full all of the way so there were plenty of empty seats. There was an old guy pushing the drink cart back and forth and saying crazy things and it smelled like he had a load in his pants.

The train made a lot of stops and took about four hours to get to Cardiff. In Cardiff I walked just a few blocks from the train station to the Wynford Hotel which I had booked for three lovely nights. It is very close to the city center so I took a walk around on the pedestrian streets and the Cardiff Castle which was very nice. I had a delicious spicy doner for dinner at a kebab place right next to the hotel.
