Went out in the morning to explore Liverpool. First I went to the massive Liverpool Cathedral which is awe-inspiring inside because of it's sheer size and height of the ceilings and arches. Once inside it's easy to believe that it's the largest cathedral in the United Kingdom.
After the cathedral I walked down to the waterfront but it started raining hard and didn't let up for the rest of the afternoon. I took some pictures of the Beatles statue and that was about it. I went into the Tate Museum to get out of the rain and had lunch there in the coffee shop.
For the rest of the day I just sat in coffee shops and waited but the rain never stopped. Back at the hotel I was going to go out that night but it was still pouring.
