It was a nice sunny day in Wales and I took the first bus to the medieval city of Conwy and spent the day. First, I went to the castle and the harbour, and walked along the top of the ancient city walls. The castle is very photogenic and dominates the village skyline. I hiked up above it in a field full of sheep and took some nice pictures of the sunny side of the castle with sheep in the foreground.
After exploring Conwy I took the Wales Coast Path to Llandudno (pronounced 'Clandudno'). The trail was nice and hugged the coast and then went along the beach. It was about a 5 km walk to Llandudno which is a lively village with a huge pier that goes way out into the ocean. Being Saturday, it was full of tourists.
Llandudno or Conwy would be good places to stay for a few day and explore. From Llandudno I took the bus back to Betws-y-Coed and arrived at about 17:00.
