Beijing Panjiayuan Flea Market

Beijing, China
Sunday, December 16, 2018
Panjiayuan Flea Market is a large outdoor market with hundreds of vendors selling all kinds of antiques, stones, art work, furniture, political souvenirs, and much more.

Be prepared to bargain as the first quoted price is usually very high and negotiable. When making a counter offer, make sure that room is left for more negotiation. The final price could be as much as 50% of the first quote. Be prepared to walk away. Another good strategy is to take the amount of your final offer out in cash and wave it around and try to hand it to the seller.

To get to Beijing Panjiayuan Flea Market:
- Take Subway Line 10 to the Panjiayuan stop and use Exit B.
- The market entrance is about 50 meters west of the exit (the opposite direction of the highway overpass).

This place was huge and has a huge variety of antiques and other stuffs to sell. It's better to go as early as possible before the crowds arrive on the weekends.
