In the morning, we took the train to Figueres which is where the Salvador Dalí Theater and Museum is located.
We took the Rodalies (Regional) train from the Arco de Triunfo station which took almost three hours to go up the coast Figueres.
Figueres is a quaint little town with decent restaurants, souvenir stores, and a nice church with a big tower right next the Dalí museum.
The Dalí museum is nice and worth a visit but doesn't have any of Dalí's most famous works.
Entries are every 30 minutes and the number of people allowed per entry is limited. Tickets can be purchased in advance from the museum's web site:

To return to Barcelona we took the AVE train which takes one hour and is twice as expensive at about €22.
